This memorandum was signed on Monday, July 17, 2023 during a meeting attended by Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ayati, Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategics and International Affairs of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Dr. Mohammad Samiei, Dean of the Faculty of World Studies at University of Tehran, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Nekoofar, Director of International Relations of the TUMS, and the secretary of the consortium of five top Iranian universities, along with the representatives from both institutes was concluded in the council hall of the Vice-Chancellorship for International Affairs.
With the approach of implementing joint programs/courses by the Consortium of the Top Five Iranian Universities (5TIUC), Dr. Mohammad Hossein Nekoofar, the TUMS Director of International Relations and Dr. Hossein Hosseini, the UT Chancellor for Educational Affairs, met and discussed the initial proposal for this project.
Application for the Bridging Grants Call, a new Iran-Switzerland joint-research grant, is open now. Sponsored by the Leading House of South Asia and Iran (functioning at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences), the National Institute for Medical Research Development (NIMAD), and the Iran-Switzerland Scientific Office (functioning at TUMS), this grant aims at enhancing international research interactions with universities and science centers in different countries.
The 4th International Conference and Festival of the World Network for Education and Scientific Research (USERN) started with the participation of scientists, students and researchers from 29 countries on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Vigado conference hall of the Hungarian Art Academy in Budapest.
