About 5TIUC
5TIUC (5 Top Iranian Universities Consortium) is a consortium comprising five top Iranian universities, including the University of Tehran (UT), Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT).
This consortium or association was founded in 2016 for stablishing collaboration among these institutions, and its vision is to effectively and efficiently make the best use of capacities and potentials to stand out in the most challenging and competitive international arenas.
The main goals of this association are:

to establish solid relations with world renowned universities,

to gain more influence in the area of international cooperation,

to develop Knowledge flow and improve knowledge management process,

to reduce the risk and cost of entering unknown and new markets.
Some of the consortium's achievements over the past three years include:

Conduction of some national and international projects through collaboration among the consortium members,

Development and conduction of academic mobility programs between Iran and Europe.
In addition, in line with its vision and to participate more actively in international scientific activities, 5TIUC has held the first and Second International Seminars on “Internationalization of Higher Education (IHES); Mobility Programs” in Iran, and plans to hold the next rounds of the seminars on this topic in Iran.
